Manhandled (1924) is a silent drama film directed by Allan Dwan and starring Gloria Swanson. The film was produced by Famous Players-Lasky at their East Coast Astoria Studios facility and distributed by Paramount Pictures. Sequences from this film, shot in New York's subway system, were featured in Kevin Brownlow's silent film documentary series Hollywood, in particular the segment on Gloria Swanson.[1]
